Hey, I'm thinking about getting a new PC and came across the Ryzen 5 Pro 4650GE. Does anyone have experience with it? Any recommendations on which chipset to go for?
Ryzen 5 Pro 4650GE - Replace Bundled Chipset?

I've been using the Ryzen 5 Pro 4650GE CPU for a while now and it's working great! The performance has been good.
Yeah, but did you replace the bundled chipset or kept it as is? I read in Which Chipsets Work With AMD's Ryzen 5 Pro 4650GE CPU? that there are some compatibility issues with certain chipsets.
That's interesting! Which chipset would you recommend then? Are there any drawbacks to upgrading?
I've seen good things about both X570 and B550 chipsets. X570 might be a better choice if you plan on doing future upgrades.
I went with the B550 and it's been working fine for me so far. It has all the features I need and was more budget-friendly.
That's good to know! Thanks everyone for the help. I think I'll look into the X570 option.
