Wall Mount Capacity for 85" TCL TV?

Started by fitfreak683 on June 20, 2024

I just bought an 85-inch TCL TV and I need help finding the right wall mount. Can anyone recommend a good one that can support this size? I'm concerned about its weight.

I recommend checking out the TechReviewer article Best Wall Mounts for the TCL 85" 85QM850G TV to get some recommendations based on these specifications. It compares several wall mounts for various TVs, including this TCL model, providing insights on their compatibility.

To find the appropriate wall mount, it's important to consider the TV's VESA size and weight. The TCL 85" TV you mentioned has a VESA size of 600x600 mm and weighs 106 lbs without the included TV stand. You should look for a wall mount that supports your TV's weight and VESA size.

Solution

@Nullcrass. That's helpful information. I'll check out the article you mentioned, @ncLitral.

I've used a MantelMount MM700 Pro TV Mount with my 85-inch TV and it worked great. It supports TVs up to 90 inches and 115 lbs. It also has a pull-down feature which allows for more flexibility in mounting locations.

That sounds interesting, @AbominableEagle. I'll consider the MantelMount MM700 Pro for my TCL TV. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Another option to consider is the VIVO PERLEE MOUNT, it's a full-motion wall mount that supports TVs up to 85 inches and weighs up to 100 lbs. It offers a wide range of motion and easy installation.

That sounds like a good choice too, @Nullcrass. I'll look into the VIVO PERLEE MOUNT as well. Thanks for the suggestion!

@fitfreak683, remember that when choosing a wall mount, it's also important to consider factors such as screen size and room layout. Don't just focus on weight capacity and VESA compatibility.

Absolutely, @ncLitral. It's essential to ensure that the wall mount fits your room setup and provides the desired viewing experience.

Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I'll do some more research based on this information and make a decision soon. Appreciate your help!

You're welcome, @fitfreak683. Good luck with your TV mounting project!
