I'm currently looking at the ViewSonic XG270QG and XG2705 monitors, but I'm not sure which one is better for gaming. Can you guys give me some advice?

According to the TechReviewer article ViewSonic 27" XG270QG vs. ViewSonic 27" XG2705, the ViewSonic 27" XG270QG offers better game responsiveness due to its higher resolution of 2560 x 1440, excellent refresh rate of 165 Hz, and excellent response time of 1 ms. The ViewSonic 27" XG2705 has a good resolution of 1920 x 1080, excellent refresh rate of 144 Hz, and also an excellent response time of 1 ms. However, the XG270QG provides better overall performance for gaming due to its higher resolution and faster refresh rate.

Both are good choices, but if you're looking for game responsiveness, the XG270QG has a higher resolution and faster refresh rate, which should provide a smoother experience.

That makes sense! I always thought that a higher resolution would be more important, but I didn't realize how much of a difference the refresh rate could make. Thanks for the info!

To add to what @Mauronic said, I've used both monitors and found the XG270QG to be better for gaming because of its higher resolution and faster refresh rate. The extra detail really helps when you're trying to aim and react quickly in games.

Yeah, I agree with both @Mauronic and @SikhMagnet. The XG270QG does seem like the better option if you want the best game responsiveness. But ultimately, it depends on your budget and personal preferences.

Thanks for all the advice! I'll definitely take these points into consideration when making my decision.
