I've been looking at the ViewSonic XG270QG and XG2705 monitors, but I can't decide which one is better for gaming. Can anyone share their experience with these?
ViewSonic XG270QG vs. XG2705 - Better Monitor for Gaming?

I've used the XG2705 for a while now, and it's served me well. It's good for casual gaming, but I'm not sure if it would handle more intense games smoothly.
I have the XG270QG, and I must say that the higher resolution and refresh rate make a huge difference in my gaming experience. The visuals are much crispier and the motion is super smooth.
If you're looking for a monitor specifically designed for gaming, the XG270QG would be my recommendation. There's an article at ViewSonic 27" XG270QG vs. ViewSonic 27" XG2705 that provides an in-depth analysis of both monitors and their suitability for gaming. It covers aspects like refresh rate, response time, and color capability, which are crucial for choosing the right gaming monitor.
That article you mentioned, @sumoliang, seems really helpful. I'll definitely check it out. The XG270QG does seem more suitable for my needs considering the higher resolution and refresh rate.
Yeah, after reading that article, I'm leaning towards getting the XG270QG too. It's clear that it has an edge in terms of gaming performance.
I've been using both monitors, and I can vouch for what @dchambers1191 and @sumoliang said. The XG270QG is definitely better for gaming due to its superior specs. I used to have issues with ghosting on the XG2705, but that's not a problem with the XG270QG.
Thanks everyone for your input! Based on your experiences and the article at ViewSonic 27" XG270QG vs. ViewSonic 27" XG2705, it seems like the XG270QG is the better option for me. I'll probably go ahead and order one.
I'm glad you found our discussion helpful, @jugernott. Enjoy your new XG270QG, and happy gaming!
