I'm looking to buy a new gaming monitor and came across the ViewSonic XG270QG and Dell S2721DGF. Any advice on which one has better refresh rates for gaming?

Both of those monitors have excellent IPS panels with 2560 x 1440 resolution, so they're both great options. I'd say go for the one that suits your budget.

Thanks a lot for all the input! It's really helpful. Both monitors have great specs but I'm leaning more towards the ViewSonic XG270QG because of its 165Hz refresh rate. It seems like it would provide a smoother gaming experience.
That makes sense, @@tomhardies. The higher refresh rate should definitely make a difference in fast-paced games. Just make sure you have a graphics card that can handle the increased framerate.
I've been using the Dell S2721DGF for a while now and it's fantastic! The 144Hz refresh rate is perfect for my gaming setup, and I haven't experienced any ghosting or lag. It also looks amazing with the 2560 x 1440 resolution.
