Started by mmmpigood on June 11, 2024

I'm looking to buy a new monitor and I've been considering the ViewSonic 27" VX2718-2KPC-MHD. Can anyone recommend some VESA mounts that are compatible with it? I want something sturdy and reliable.

Thanks for the suggestions! I also found this TechReviewer article that might be helpful: Monitor Mounts & Stands for ViewSonic's 27" VX2718-2KPC-MHD. It talks about different mounts suitable for ViewSonic's 27" VX2718-2KPC-MHD monitor. You might find it useful!

I've been using the ViewSonic for a while now, and I really like it. For your needs, I'd recommend looking into HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount or AVLT Single Monitor Arm Desk Mount. Both of them should work well with your VESA size.

That sounds great, thanks! I'll check out the article. Just to confirm, both the HUANUO and AVLT mounts are compatible with a VESA size of 75 x 75 mm and can handle a weight of up to 8 lbs?

Yes, both the HUANUO and AVLT mounts should work well with your ViewSonic VX2718-2KPC-MHD monitor. They're designed to accommodate monitors with VESA sizes between 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm, which is exactly what you need.

I've used the HUANUO mount before and it's pretty good! The assembly was quite easy and it holds my monitor firmly in place. Plus, it doesn't take up much desk space.

That's awesome to hear! Thanks for sharing your experience. I think I'll go ahead and get one of those mounts. By the way, does anyone have any recommendations on cable management? I'm worried about having a messy setup.

For cable management, you might want to check out some cable clips or ties that you can attach to the mount or your desk. They're really helpful in keeping everything tidy and organized.

Another option is to look for mounts with built-in cable management features. Some of them have channels or clips where you can run your cables, which can make a huge difference in keeping things neat.

That's a great idea! I'll definitely keep that in mind while shopping for the mount. Thanks everyone for your help and advice!
