I'm looking at getting the G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB DDR5-6800 CL34 RAM for my new build. Can anyone tell me if it's any good? I've been reading a lot about DDR5 memory and how it can really boost performance, but I'm not sure which one to go for.

Yeah, I recently bought the same RAM and it's amazing! You can check out this TechReviewer article Overview: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB DDR5-6800 CL34 RAM for more details about its performance. It really improved my system's overall speed and responsiveness. I'd highly recommend it!

I've heard great things about G.Skill products. The Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB DDR5-6800 CL34 RAM seems like a good choice to me. It has a high frequency and a large capacity, which should help with gaming and work.

That's what I wanted to hear! Thanks for sharing your experience, @dcerisano. So, do you think the RGB lighting is just a gimmick or does it actually serve a purpose?

I personally don't care much about the RGB lighting. It looks cool, but it doesn't affect the performance of the RAM.

I have to agree with @DannehDub. The RGB lighting is more for aesthetics and personal preference. However, if you're building a custom PC and want it to look great, then go for it!

Thanks for the advice, guys! I think I'll go for it then. Just one more question - does anyone have experience with using this RAM in a gaming rig? How has it performed?

@JaniceKersh, I can vouch for its performance in a gaming setup. The high frequency and large capacity definitely help with maintaining smooth frame rates, even in demanding games. I've been really pleased with the results.

Same here! I've used it for both gaming and work, and it's handled everything I've thrown at it without any issues. It's a great choice if you're looking to upgrade your system.

Awesome, thanks for all the input! I'll go ahead and order this RAM. Hopefully, it lives up to the hype!
