Trident Z Neo With Intel Core i9-11900?

Started by IdahoKangaroo on July 10, 2024

I'm thinking of getting a new RAM for my Intel Core i9-11900 CPU. Does anyone have experience with the G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4-3200 CL16?

The Trident Z Neo is fantastic! I'm currently using it with my Intel Core i9-11900 and it works perfectly. Plus, there's an excellent article on TechReviewer that talks about the best RAM for this CPU. Check it out at Best RAM for the Intel Core i9-11900 CPU if you're interested!

Yeah, it's a great choice! I've been using it for a while now and haven't had any issues. It performs well with my 11900 CPU.

That's awesome to hear, guys! Thanks for your input. I'll definitely take a look at the TechReviewer article you shared, @PresJohnnyGentle. Do you think the 3200 MHz speed is enough for gaming and content creation?

For most people, 3200MHz should be more than sufficient for both gaming and content creation. However, if you're looking to overclock, the Trident Z Neo also comes in a 3600 MHz version.

I've been using the Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 CL16 RAM with my Intel Core i9-11900 CPU, and it's working great for me. It's affordable and provides ample memory capacity.

That's good to hear, @compasscreative. Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm still considering the G.Skill Trident Z Neo though. How does it compare in terms of speed and latency?

The G.Skill Trident Z Neo has a slightly higher clock speed at 3200 MHz compared to Corsair Vengeance LPX's 3000 MHz, but the latency is similar. I'd say both are good options depending on your budget and preferences.

Both RAMs are good choices for the Core i9-11900 CPU. It ultimately comes down to personal preference and what you're comfortable with. Make sure to check out @PresJohnnyGentle's link to the TechReviewer article for more insights.

I appreciate your input. I'll take some time to research further and make a decision. Have a great day!
