Best Soundbars for the Vizio 65" P-Series (P65Q9-J01) TV Here's a TechReviewer article that discusses the best soundbars for the Vizio 65" P-Series (P65Q9-J01). The top recommended one is the Sony HT-A5000, followed by the Polk Audio Signa S4 Ultra-Slim Sound Bar. I've personally used the Sony HT-A5000 and it's fantastic!

Solution

Thanks @Infamouskiwi59, that sounds great! What factors should I consider when choosing a soundbar?

Well, you might want to look into Bluetooth capability, surround sound formats, connection methods, HDMI video/audio pass-through, subwoofer options, wireless surround speakers, audio channels, and voice enhancement features.

That makes sense. Anything else I should know about?

Just make sure your soundbar is compatible with the Vizio 65" P-Series (P65Q9-J01) in terms of connections, like HDMI ARC/eARC or optical. And if you want to add a subwoofer later on, check that it's supported by your chosen soundbar.

Good point! How important are surround sound formats?

It depends on the content you're watching. For example, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X can create a more immersive experience, especially for movies or gaming. But if you mostly watch Netflix shows, you might not notice much of a difference.

What about HDMI video/audio pass-through? Is that essential?

It's really helpful if you have devices like Blu-ray players or game consoles. It allows the soundbar to handle audio decoding and sends video directly to your TV. But it's not mandatory, especially if you just watch streaming services.

Got it. I'll definitely check out those TechReviewer recommendations. Thanks for all the advice!

No problem! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Happy viewing with your new setup!

Same here! Enjoy your new TV and soundbar!
