I'm looking to buy a soundbar for my new Samsung 75" CU7000 TV. Can anyone recommend some good options? I've been doing some research but it's quite overwhelming.

@commonwriter, I'd start by considering the following factors: Bluetooth capability, surround sound formats, connections (HDMI pass-through and ARC/eARC), subwoofer support, wireless surround speakers, audio channels, and voice enhancement. A recent TechReviewer article Best Soundbars for the Samsung 75" CU7000 TV provides a detailed comparison of top soundbars for Samsung TVs.

@commonwriter, I've had great experience with the Sony HT-A5000. It's a high-end soundbar with impressive audio quality and supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. It also has HDMI 2.1 pass-through for eARC and built-in Bluetooth.

@commonwriter, another option to consider is the Polk Audio Signa S4. It's an excellent mid-range soundbar that offers good value for money. It supports Dolby Digital and DTS surround formats but lacks Atmos and X support.

@Zeberlicious, would you mind elaborating a bit on the connection options available on the Sony HT-A5000? I'm particularly interested in HDMI ARC/eARC and subwoofer support.

@deeblowace, thanks for the reminder about HDMI ARC/eARC. The Sony HT-A5000 supports eARC, which is great for high-quality audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. It also has an optical input, so you can still connect your TV if you prefer that. As for subwoofer support, it doesn't have a dedicated subwoofer output, but you can add a compatible Polk Audio subwoofer.

@commonwriter, thanks for the additional information about the Sony HT-A5000. Another thing to note is that it has three audio channels and built-in Bluetooth, which should be useful if you're planning on connecting other devices wirelessly.

@commonwriter, I've been using the Bose model 838309-1100 soundbar for a while now, and I must say it's an excellent entry-level option. It has good audio quality, built-in Bluetooth, and supports Dolby Digital and DTS surround formats. However, it doesn't have HDMI pass-through or ARC/eARC support.

@DamionYoung, what are your thoughts on the Bose model 838309-1100's voice enhancement feature? I'm curious if it significantly improves dialogue clarity compared to other soundbars in its price range.

@deeblowace, the voice enhancement feature on the Bose model 838309-1100 works well for enhancing dialogue clarity. It makes conversations and movie dialogues much more understandable, even at lower volume levels.

@commonwriter, that's good to know about the Bose soundbar. I'm just curious, does it have any wireless surround speaker support? I'm thinking of expanding my setup in the future if possible.

@Zeberlicious, unfortunately, the Bose model 838309-1100 doesn't have built-in support for wireless surround speakers. However, you can explore other options like the Yamaha YAS-209 or the VIZIO SB3851-B soundbars that offer such features.
