I'm looking to buy a soundbar for my new Sony 75" X80K TV. Can anyone recommend the best one? I'm interested in something with good surround sound capabilities.

Just a quick addition - I'd also recommend checking out the Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable for connecting your soundbar and TV if you're going to use eARC. It ensures a high-quality connection and fast data transfer. You can find it here: Best Soundbars for the Sony 75" X80K TV.

Welcome, @PsychedelicHead! If you're looking for a top-quality soundbar for your Sony 75" X80K, the Sony HT-A5000 is highly recommended. It supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, providing an immersive surround sound experience. Also, it has HDMI cable connectivity with eARC support, which enhances the audio quality. Check out this TechReviewer article Best Soundbars for the Sony 75" X80K TV for more details.

That sounds great! I was also considering the Polk Audio Signa S4. Do you think it's a good option as well?

The Polk Audio Signa S4 is a decent choice too, especially if you're looking for something more affordable. It has Bluetooth support and optical connectivity. However, it doesn't have the same level of surround sound capabilities as the Sony HT-A5000.

@msoffices! I appreciate the input. What about the HDMI Audio Support on the Polk Audio Signa S4? Does it have eARC support?

The Polk Audio Signa S4 does not have eARC support, but it has regular ARC (Audio Return Channel) support. This means you can still connect your devices to the soundbar and control the volume using your TV remote.

Alright, I see. What about other factors like Bluetooth capability and subwoofer support on both of these soundbars?

Both the Sony HT-A5000 and Polk Audio Signa S4 have Bluetooth capabilities, which is useful for wirelessly streaming audio from your devices. The Sony HT-A5000 comes with a subwoofer output for deeper bass, while the Polk Audio Signa S4 does not have a dedicated subwoofer output but you can connect one separately via a subwoofer cable.

That's helpful to know. It seems like the Sony HT-A5000 might be the better option for my needs, especially with its support for eARC and surround sound formats. Thanks everyone for your suggestions!

You're welcome, @PsychedelicHead. If you have any more questions or need further advice, feel free to ask! Good luck with your purchase.
