That's interesting! I just read an article on TechReviewer discussing the best RAM for Intel Celeron G5900 CPUs. They recommended Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz DDR4 as well, especially for users who don't plan to overclock their RAM. The Best RAM for the Intel Celeron G5900 CPU provides more details about this RAM and its performance. You might want to check it out!

Hey, I've been using Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz DDR4 for my Celeron G5900 and it's working great. The 32 GB capacity is perfect for gaming and content creation.

Solution

That's helpful! I'm not really looking to overclock my RAM right now, so that sounds like a good option for me. Thanks!

No problem! Just remember that while DDR4 is great, it's not as advanced as DDR5 in terms of performance.

True, but considering the price difference and overall performance, most people find DDR4 to be a good balance between cost and efficiency. Plus, you won't have to worry about compatibility issues with your Celeron G5900 CPU since it only supports DDR4 memory.

Good point! I'll probably go for the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666 MHz DDR4 then. Thanks for the advice!

Hey, I was looking into the same thing a few months ago and ended up going with Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 MHz DDR4 since I wanted to be able to overclock my RAM in the future. Just thought I'd share my experience in case you're interested in that option as well.

That's great to know! I'll definitely consider it. Thanks for sharing your experience, @mikebwesty!

So, can anyone tell me if there are any compatibility issues with choosing RAM? Like, is it all dependent on the motherboard and CPU?

Yeah, you're right that the memory generation (e.g., DDR3, DDR4, or DDR5) must match what your motherboard supports. The Celeron G5900 only works with DDR4 memory, so make sure to pick one up that's compatible with your system.

Also, just keep in mind that the maximum speed you can use depends on both your CPU and motherboard. The G5900 officially supports memory speeds up to 2666 MT/s, but overclocking or underclocking might be possible if your motherboard allows it. I'd recommend checking out the supported speeds on your specific motherboard model.

Thanks for all the advice! I'll definitely keep these points in mind when picking out my RAM. Appreciate the help!

No problem! Good luck with your search, and let us know if you have any more questions!
