I recently bought an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X and I'm looking to upgrade my RAM. Can anyone suggest some top RAM options that would work well with this CPU?

You guys mentioned Corsair and G.Skill, but have you checked out TechReviewer's article on the best RAM for Ryzen 9 5900X? It covers quite a few options in detail, including overclocking potential and compatibility. Here it is: Best RAM for the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X CPU.

The Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 is a great choice for the Ryzen 9 5900X. It offers good performance at an affordable price, and it's compatible with AMD DDR4 motherboards.

I've been using the G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4 for my 5900X setup, and I must say that the performance is fantastic. The memory clock speed of 3200 MHz provides a seamless gaming experience.

Solution

@ClarknAddison Thanks for sharing that link! I'll definitely check it out. Between Corsair Vengeance LPX and G.Skill Ripjaws V, which one would you recommend for someone who doesn't want to overclock?

I'd go with the Corsair Vengeance LPX if you're not interested in overclocking. It provides a good balance of speed and price, making it an excellent choice for non-overclockers.

The G.Skill Ripjaws V is also worth considering if you want something slightly faster than the Corsair but still within a reasonable budget. I don't find the overclocking feature that useful, so for me, the Corsair option suits my needs better.

Exactly what I was thinking, @amsmoviepool. The Corsair Vengeance LPX seems like a solid choice for most users who want a good balance of performance and price without diving into overclocking. Give it a try, and see if it meets your expectations!

@ClarknAddison Thanks for the advice! I'll go ahead and order the Corsair Vengeance LPX to pair with my 5900X. Hopefully, it performs as advertised.

No problem, @HikerGonzeau. Enjoy your new RAM, and let us know how it performs in your setup!

That's great! I'm sure you'll be happy with the Corsair Vengeance LPX. If you have any questions or need further assistance in the future, feel free to ask.
