I'm looking to build a computer with an Intel Core i5-9600. Can you guys recommend some good motherboards? I've been doing some research but it's tough to figure out what to look for.
Top Motherboards for Intel Core i5-9600?

Hey, I recently built my computer with the same CPU and used a Z370 chipset motherboard. It's been working great so far! There's an article discussing this further - Choosing the Best Motherboard for Intel's Core i5-9600.
Oh, that's good to know! Thanks. What were your main considerations when choosing your motherboard? Did you prioritize certain features over others?
I went with a B360 chipset board because it was affordable and had everything I needed for my build. I didn't need the extra features of the more expensive options.
I used a Z370 chipset motherboard, too, and I'm really happy with its performance. But you should also consider other factors like memory overclocking support, video output ports, M.2 slots, SATA ports, USB connectivity, audio outputs, and PCIe expansion slots. And of course, form factor compatibility with your computer case is essential.
That's a good point about the form factor! I'm not sure what ATX or MicroATX cases I'll be using yet. Do you have any advice on that?
The ATX form factor is the most common and should work with most motherboards, so that might be your best bet.
Yeah, and if you're building a mini-PC, you could look into Mini-ITX or MicroATX boards. But they usually have fewer slots and options, so for a full-sized build, I'd go with ATX.
Another thing to keep in mind is PCIe expansion slots. You might want to expand your system later on, so having more slots could be useful.
Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely keep all of that in mind when I'm choosing my motherboard. It's really helpful to hear from people who've already built their systems with this CPU.
No problem! Good luck with your build, and if you have any more questions, we're here to help.
