Hey, I'm looking to buy a new motherboard and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for the best one for an Intel Core i9-11900? I've been doing some research but it's hard to know which one to go with.

I have an ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero Z590, and it works great with my i9-11900. There's a good article that goes over the best feature motherboard for Intel's Core i9-11900 at Choosing the Best Motherboard for Intel's Core i9-11900. You might find it helpful!

That's awesome! I've been looking into the ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-Plus WiFi as well, do you think it's a good value option?

Yeah, the ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-Plus WiFi is a great choice for a balance of performance and price. I've had no issues with mine. Just make sure to double-check compatibility with your CPU before purchasing.

Thanks for the advice! So which chipset should I go with? The article you mentioned, @lillydo0808, suggests that any 500-series or 400-series chipset should work with the i9-11900, but are there any specific ones you'd recommend?

Based on my experience and research, the Z590 is the best feature motherboard for the i9-11900. However, if you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, the ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-Plus WiFi might be worth considering. Both support the 11th generation Intel Core processors.

I see. Another thing that's been on my mind is whether I need a motherboard with overclocking capabilities since my i9-11900 doesn't have a "K" suffix. What do you think, guys?

You don't necessarily need a top-of-the-line Z590 or Z490 chipset for the i9-11900 since it doesn't support overclocking. You can go with any 500-series or even 400-series chipset. Just make sure that your chosen motherboard has the necessary features and compatibility you desire.

Great, thanks for all the input! I think I'll look into the ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-Plus WiFi as it seems like a good balance between performance and price. Any other tips or things to consider?

The ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-Plus WiFi should serve you well. Just make sure to check that your desired motherboard has enough USB ports, memory overclocking support if needed, video output ports for integrated graphics (since your CPU has it), and the appropriate storage options like M.2 slots and SATA ports.

I'll definitely keep those factors in mind! Also, is there any specific form factor you'd recommend? Like ATX, MicroATX, or Mini-ITX?

The most common form factor for desktop PCs is ATX. However, if you're looking to build a mini-PC, then you might consider the Mini-ITX and MicroATX form factors. It ultimately depends on your personal preferences and the space available in your setup.

Awesome, I'll go with an ATX motherboard since I have plenty of room and it seems like the best option for most people. Thanks again everyone for all the helpful advice!
