I'm looking to buy a monitor stand for my new Asus VG259QR. Can anyone recommend some good ones? I've heard that the wrong one can damage the monitor.

Sure, I have used the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount for my 24.5" Asus monitor and it worked great! It's sturdy and supports up to 22 lbs which is more than enough for your VG259QR. Here's a link to it Monitor Mounts & Stands for Asus's 24.5" VG259QR. Also, remember that you should always make sure the stand can support your monitor's weight.

Solution

I've used the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount with my previous monitor and it was fantastic! It's adjustable and can handle large monitors well. The Asus VG259QR is a bit lighter, so this might work for you as well.

Thanks for the suggestions! The HUANUO stand seems like a great option but I'm also curious about other budget-friendly options. Any recommendations?

If you're looking for an affordable option, I'd recommend checking out the VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mount. It's not as fancy as Ergotron or HUANUO but it does the job well. Just make sure to properly tighten it to avoid any issues.

So should I go with the HUANUO stand, the Ergotron HX, or the VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mount? I'm trying to find one that's stable and won't damage my monitor.

All three stands are reliable options. The HUANUO is very sturdy and has good cable management features, while the Ergotron HX offers great adjustability. The VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mount is a more budget-friendly option, but it's still quite solid. It really depends on your specific needs and preferences.

Great, thanks for all the advice! I think I'll check out the HUANUO stand first. Hopefully, it won't damage my monitor or desk!

That sounds like a good choice! Just remember to properly install it and make sure it can support your monitor's weight. And if you have any issues, don't hesitate to reach out for more advice.

Thanks again, I'll keep that in mind!
