I recently bought an LG 65" UR9000 TV, and I'm looking to connect it to various devices. Can anyone recommend the best HDMI ports for this model?

The LG 65" UR9000 has three HDMI 2.0 ports. You might want to consider using one of these for your main connection since they are more widely supported. Additionally, I found a helpful article on TechReviewer that discusses which HDMI cables work best with this TV HDMI Capabilities of the LG 65" UR9000 series TV.

Thanks for the info! I was planning on using my gaming console and Blu-ray player with the TV. Will any of these HDMI 2.0 ports handle high-speed data transmission without issues?

Yes, the HDMI 2.0 ports should work fine for your gaming console and Blu-ray player. However, if you plan to use an HDR device or one that requires higher bandwidth, you might want to consider using an HDMI 2.1 cable, even though your TV doesn't have HDMI 2.1 ports.

I've been using my LG 65" UR9000 with an Xbox Series X and haven't encountered any issues so far. I used a Monoprice 8K 48Gbps Certified Braided Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable, which works great for both gaming and streaming.

That's good to know! I'm also curious about eARC support on the LG 65" UR9000 since I plan to connect a soundbar to my TV. Can someone provide more details on that?

The LG 65" UR9000 does support Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) functionality with its HDMI 2.1 port, which means you can transmit high-quality audio from your TV to an external device like a soundbar. I hope this helps!

Awesome, thanks everyone for the information! I'll go ahead and get the recommended cables and set everything up. Good to know that eARC is supported too, as I want my audio to be top-notch.
