Top DACs & Amps for Drop + Meze 99 NOIR?

I've been thinking about getting some new headphones and came across the Drop + Meze 99 NOIR. Can anyone share their experiences with them or suggest any top DACs & amps to pair with these?

Hey @ClashinKP, I've been using the Drop + Meze 99 NOIR for a few months now and can vouch for their amazing sound quality. Regarding DACs & amps, it really depends on your personal taste and budget. Some people swear by them, while others find their headphones work just fine without one.

@KaffeeNoire makes a good point. It's worth trying both with and without a DAC amp to see if you notice any differences. Personally, I've tried using my 99 NOIRs with the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M, and it made a noticeable improvement in the overall audio quality.

Just wanted to share my experience with the ARC Mk2 - Headphone Amplifier & DAC. I've been using it with my Drop + Meze 99 NOIR for a few weeks now, and it's really made a difference in terms of sound clarity and detail.

Awesome, @GeminiAction12! I'm glad you had a good experience with the ARC Mk2. As for cleaning and maintenance, I just use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the ear cups and keep them free from dust. As for the DAC amp itself, I haven't had any issues with it thus far.
