Thanks for the recommendation, @Elamere25. The Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M sounds great. Do you have any experience with ARC Mk2? How does it compare to the DacMagic 200M?

I've used both the DacMagic 200M and ARC Mk2, and they're really good in their own ways. The DacMagic 200M has a more robust build quality, while the ARC Mk2 is more affordable. Both of them significantly enhance the audio experience with my AKG K240 MKII headphones.

That's useful information, @audiodelic536. Thanks for sharing your experiences. So, it sounds like both options are good choices. I'll probably start by checking out the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M since it has such a glowing recommendation from @Elamere25.

I'm curious about DAC amps too. I've been using the FiiO Q5 for my AKG K240 MKII headphones and I'm really happy with it. It's more budget-friendly and works great for me.

Thanks for sharing, @kremisius. I didn't know that FiiO had DAC amps. How does the Q5 compare to the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M or ARC Mk2 in terms of sound quality?

The FiiO Q5 is a great budget option, but it's not as high-end as the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M or ARC Mk2. That being said, if you're looking for an affordable DAC amp that still offers decent performance, the Q5 is definitely worth considering.

Yeah, I agree with @Elamere25. The FiiO Q5 is a good option if you're on a budget, but if you want top-notch sound quality and build quality, you can't go wrong with the DacMagic 200M or ARC Mk2. They really make a difference in your music listening experience.

Thanks for all the input, guys. I appreciate the recommendations. It seems like the Cambridge Audio DacMagic 200M might be my best bet, but I'll also check out the FiiO Q5 and see if it's worth considering for my budget. Any other suggestions?

If you're still unsure, consider checking out online reviews of these DAC amps in action with AKG K240 MKII headphones. You can get a better sense of how they perform in real-world situations.

That's a good idea, @kremisius. I'll do some more research and read up on user experiences. Thanks for all the advice!
