I'm considering getting the Acer 27" ED273 Bbmiix monitor and I was wondering what stands are recommended for it. Any suggestions?

The HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount is an excellent choice! I've been using it with my ED273 Bbmiix, and it's worked great so far. You can find more information in this TechReviewer article Monitor Mounts & Stands for Acer's 27" ED273 Bbmiix.

Solution

I second the recommendation for the HUANUO stand. It's really stable and easy to adjust. I also like that it's pretty affordable compared to some other options.

That sounds good, thanks! The weight capacity is important to me since my monitor will be on a glass desk. What's the weight limit for the HUANUO stand?

It supports up to 22 lbs (10 kg), so it should work well for your ED273 Bbmiix, which weighs around 8 lbs.

I've been using the AVLT Single Monitor Arm Desk Mount with my ED273 Bbmiix and it's also a great option. It has a higher weight capacity of up to 33 lbs (15 kg), so if you want extra security, that might be worth considering.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll definitely check those out. Just one more question - is it necessary to use a reinforcement plate with these stands when using them on glass desks?

It's not strictly necessary, but it can help prevent scratches or damage to your desk in case the stand slips. The HUANUO Steel Monitor Mount Reinforcement Plate might be worth looking at.

That's a good point about the reinforcement plate. I had one of those for my glass desk and it worked really well, no issues with slipping or scratches.

Great, thanks everyone! I think I'll go ahead and order the HUANUO stand and the reinforcement plate. It sounds like they'll work great for my ED273 Bbmiix monitor on a glass desk.
