Tilt vs. Full Motion Mount for 65" TCL 65S450G TV

Started by Evangel59 on July 10, 2024

I'm looking to mount my new 65" TCL 65S450G TV and am trying to decide between a tilt or full motion mount. What are the pros and cons of each? Any suggestions on which one to choose?

Thanks for the input! I've been reading some reviews and came across this TechReviewer article Best Wall Mounts for the TCL 65" 65S450G TV that discusses the advantages and disadvantages of each type of mount. It really opened my eyes to the benefits of a full motion mount, especially for larger TVs like mine.

Tilt mounts are great for adjusting the angle of your TV, but don't offer as much range of movement as full motion mounts. Full motion mounts can be more expensive, but they provide a lot more flexibility in terms of viewing angles.

That's interesting! The article seems to suggest that a full motion mount would be better for my 65" TV. What are your thoughts on the SANUS Extra Large TV Wall Mount? I've seen it mentioned in the article and am considering it as an option.

The SANUS Extra Large TV Wall Mount is a great choice if you're looking for a full motion mount. It has a wide range of compatibility and can support larger TVs and weights. However, it may require more installation time compared to fixed or tilting mounts.

I have the SANUS Extra Large TV Wall Mount for my 70" TV, and I absolutely love it! The flexibility it provides is amazing. The only downside is that it does take a bit longer to install than other types of mounts.

That's helpful feedback! It sounds like the SANUS mount might be worth the extra installation time for the added flexibility with my 65" TV. Thanks everyone for your input!
