I'm building a new gaming PC and I'm looking for some advice on whether the Thermaltake Toughram RGB 32GB DDR4-3600 CL18 RAM is a good choice. Has anyone here used it or heard anything about it? I've heard mixed reviews online.

Started by RedArmy05 on May 31, 2024
I've been using the Thermaltake Toughram RGB for a few months now and I must say, it's been great so far. The 32GB capacity is perfect for my gaming setup and multitasking needs. As for the 3600MHz speed, I haven't noticed any significant difference compared to my previous RAM, but it's still fast enough for most games.
Hey @RedArmy05, I've been using the Thermaltake Toughram RGB for a while now and it works great with my gaming setup. It has good performance and looks cool too! As for the Overview: Thermaltake Toughram RGB 32 GB DDR4-3600 CL18 RAM TechReviewer article, I found it really helpful when deciding on this RAM. You might want to check it out.
@OmarL1ttle and @Squeaks02. That's good to hear. The RGB lighting is a nice touch, but I'm more concerned with performance. How do the timings (CL18) compare to other options out there? And does anyone know if this RAM is compatible with Intel CPUs?
I've been using the Toughram RGB for about 6 months now and I can vouch for its great performance. I'm running it on an Intel CPU, and so far, there have been no compatibility issues. The CL18 timings might not be the best out there, but they're still more than sufficient for gaming purposes.
That's good to hear, @Littlebitoflovely. So, does anyone have any experience with different RAM options? I'm considering a few other brands as well, but I want to make sure I'm getting the best value for my money.
Hey @RedArmy05, I've been using G.Skill Ripjaws V series RAM in my gaming PC and it's been fantastic. It has slightly better timings (CL16) compared to the Toughram RGB, but it's also a bit more expensive. The performance difference between these two isn't huge though.
Thanks for the input, @SupraRZ1999. It sounds like both options are good, but I'm still unsure which one to choose. Any other suggestions or experiences?
Hey @RedArmy05, just wanted to add that after using the Toughram RGB for a while, it hasn't let me down in any game. The performance has been consistent and there haven't been any issues so far. If you're looking for something with great RGB lighting and solid performance, I'd recommend giving it a try.
Alright, thanks everyone for the input. I think I'll go ahead and give the Thermaltake Toughram RGB a shot. Thanks again!
