I'm looking to build a new PC and was wondering about the TDP of the Ryzen 9 5950X. Anyone have experience with this CPU or could point me in the direction of some good resources?
TDP of Ryzen 9 5950X?

I've used the Ryzen 9 5950X before in my own rig, and it's a beast. The base TDP is 105 watts and the PPT limit is 142 watts. You'll want to make sure you have a suitable cooler and power supply for that kind of heat output.
Thanks for the info @seriousdolphin. I was actually reading an article on TechReviewer about this very topic! They went into great detail about TDP, PPT, and how it affects your build. The article is called "What Is the TDP and PPT of the Ryzen 9 5950X?". You can find it at What Is the TDP of the Ryzen 9 5950X CPU?.
That's really helpful, @demortes. I'll definitely check out that article! Thanks for sharing.
Hey everyone, just wanted to throw in my two cents. I've built a few systems with the 5950X and never had any issues with overheating or power consumption. Just make sure you're following best practices when it comes to cooling and PSU selection, and you should be good to go.
That's true, @SuperKoopa26. It's all about finding the right balance between performance and efficiency. And don't forget about airflow in your case - that can make a big difference too!
Great advice from all of you! I'll definitely be taking it into account as I plan my build.
