I'm considering getting a new TV and I'm really interested in the TCL 75Q650F. Can anyone tell me about its HDMI ports? Specifically, how many HDMI ports does it have and what version are they?
TCL 75Q650F HDMI Ports?
Started by NexusNinjaEX on June 02, 2024
The TCL 75Q650F comes with two HDMI 2.0 ports and one HDMI 2.1 port. That should give you plenty of options for connecting various devices.
Thanks for the info! I'm mostly interested in playing games on this TV, so I was wondering if it supports variable refresh rate (VRR). Does anyone know?
According to TechReviewer's article HDMI Capabilities of the TCL 75" 75Q650F TV, the TCL 75Q650F does not support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). However, it does have one HDMI 2.1 port which supports Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) for improved audio quality.
Thanks for the info! The refresh rate of this TV is also important to me. What's the native refresh rate of the TCL 75Q650F?
The TCL 75Q650F has a native refresh rate of 60 Hz, as per TechReviewer's article HDMI Capabilities of the TCL 75" 75Q650F TV. If you're mostly watching slower-paced content like movies and TV shows, this should be more than sufficient. However, if you enjoy fast-paced content or gaming, you might want to consider a TV with a higher refresh rate.
I've been using the TCL 75Q650F for a while now, and I can confirm that the 60 Hz refresh rate is perfectly fine for movies and TV shows. It's only when you're into fast-paced gaming or sports that you might notice some choppiness.
Thank you everyone for your input! Based on this information, it seems like the TCL 75Q650F could be a good fit for me. I'll definitely do more research and maybe read some reviews before making my final decision. Thanks again!
