I'm considering buying a TCL 65" 65S450R TV and I was wondering how many HDMI ports it has? Can anyone help me out?

It's worth noting that even though it doesn't officially support VRR, the TV still performs admirably without it. The TechReviewer article HDMI Capabilities of the TCL 65" 65S450R TV also discusses this in detail.

The TCL 65S450R comes with three HDMI 2.0 ports and one HDMI 2.1 port. That should be more than enough for most setups.

Yeah, I've seen a TechReviewer article HDMI Capabilities of the TCL 65" 65S450R TV that discusses the HDMI capabilities of this TV in detail. It's a great resource if you want to learn more about what it can do with these ports.

That's helpful. The article says there's one HDMI 2.1 port, right? Can I use an HDMI 2.1 cable with that port for better performance?

Yes, absolutely! Using an HDMI 2.1 cable with the 2.1 port will definitely give you better performance, especially if you plan on using devices that support 4K and HDR content.

Oh, I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the information! So, what about eARC? Does this TV support it?

Yes, the TCL 65S450R does support Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC). This means you can enjoy immersive audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

Great! That's really good to know. And what about the refresh rate? Is it a smooth 60Hz or do I need to upgrade to a higher one?

The TV has a 60Hz native refresh rate, which should be fine for most content. However, if you're into gaming or watching sports, you might want to consider a TV with a higher refresh rate.

Thanks everyone for the information! I think I'll go ahead and buy the TCL 65S450R. It seems like a great TV for my needs.
