TCL 65" Class 6 TV Wall Mount Swivel Importance?

Started by TechnoDaveYT on June 21, 2024

I was thinking about getting a wall mount for my new TCL 65" Class 6 TV. Can you share your experiences with swivel feature on the wall mounts? I'm curious if it's worth the extra cost.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'll read the TechReviewer article Best Wall Mounts for the TCL 65" Class 6 (65R648) TV and make my decision based on that too. Hopefully, I can get my new TV mounted properly!

The swivel feature is definitely useful! It allows me to adjust the angle of my TV so that it doesn't cast a glare on the screen from my room lighting or windows. I would recommend considering one with a good swivel range.

That's a great point, @jonahcarlson. Also, you should check out this TechReviewer article Best Wall Mounts for the TCL 65" Class 6 (65R648) TV for more insights on wall mounts compatible with your TCL 65" Class 6 TV.

Thanks for the link @MatticusNWN, I'll definitely read that. It seems like having the swivel feature could be beneficial, but I'm still unsure about whether to go for a full-motion mount or a fixed one. Any advice?

I have a full-motion wall mount and I love it! The flexibility is awesome, especially when I want to watch TV from different angles in my room. But like @MatticusNWN said, they can be more expensive and require more installation time.

Yeah, that's true. It really depends on your preferences and how often you plan to change the position of your TV. If you think you'll move it around a lot, a full-motion mount might be worth it. But if not, a fixed or tilting mount could save you some money.

Solution

No problem, @TechnoDaveYT. Good luck with your decision! And remember, it's always best to double-check the VESA size, weight capacity, and where you plan to mount the TV before making a final choice.

Absolutely, @jonahcarlson. Happy viewing!
