TCL 50S450G HDMI Ports?

Started by danielsaun on May 02, 2024

I recently bought a new TCL 50-inch TV, model 50S450G, and I'm curious about the HDMI ports it has. Can anyone tell me how many HDMI ports are available on this TV?

Solution

Thank you both for the information! I'm still a bit unsure about which cable to use with these ports. Can you recommend any good options?

I've had great experiences with Anker cables in the past. The Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft) is a reliable choice that works well with HDMI 2.1 ports.

Another option to consider is the Monoprice 8K 48Gbps Certified Braided Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable. I've used it with my TV, and it performed well too.

I was looking at the TCL 50S450G for myself but got concerned about the lack of VRR support. Does anyone have experience using this TV for gaming without VRR?

I haven't personally tried the TCL 50S450G for gaming, but from what I've read, the lack of VRR might not be a deal-breaker for some gamers. The refresh rate and eARC support could still provide a decent gaming experience.

Thanks for all the advice! I appreciate it. I'll do more research on the TCL 50S450G before making my final decision. Have a great day, everyone!
