Yeah, I read that article. The response times for both are 5 ms, which is good for gaming. But what about refresh rates?

Refresh rate is important too! Both have a 60 Hz refresh rate, which is mediocre for gaming. Higher refresh rates like 120 Hz or 144 Hz would give you smoother gameplay.

Yeah, and the LG 27UL850-W has better color capability with 99% SRGB compared to the 27UL500-W's 98% SRGB. That could be important for some gamers.
