I recently built a PC with an Intel Core i5-14400 processor, and I'm looking for the best cooling solution. Can anyone recommend a good CPU cooler that works well with this CPU?

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll check out the recommended air coolers and the TechReviewer article Which Chipsets Work With Intel's Core i5-14400 CPU? before making a decision. It's great to know there are multiple options available for cooling my Intel Core i5-14400 CPU.

For the Intel Core i5-14400, you should go with an air cooler like the Noctua NH-U9S or the be quiet! Pure Rock Slim. Both are great performers and will keep your CPU cool under normal workloads.

@EagerRainbow, I have the same CPU, and I used the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. It's affordable, easy to install, and it keeps my CPU temps low during gaming sessions. I also recommend checking out this TechReviewer article Which Chipsets Work With Intel's Core i5-14400 CPU? for more information on CPU cooling solutions.

@bikerjesusguy, what about all-in-one liquid coolers? Are they worth the investment for an Intel Core i5-14400?

All-in-one liquid coolers can provide better cooling performance and lower noise levels compared to air coolers. However, they are more expensive and require more maintenance. If you're looking for a high-performance cooler and don't mind the extra cost and maintenance, an AIO liquid cooler like the Corsair H100i V2 or NZXT Kraken X63 might be worth considering.

Solution

@EagerRainbow, no problem! And remember, proper airflow in your case is also important for keeping everything cool. Good luck with your build!

Any recommendations for CPU coolers that can be easily mounted on small form factor cases?

Yes, for small form factor cases, I'd recommend the Scythe Big Shuriken 3 or the be quiet! Pure Rock Slim. Both are compact and effective air coolers that should fit well in smaller cases.

Awesome, thanks everyone for the advice! I'll look into these options and make a decision soon. Have a great day!

You're welcome, @EagerRainbow! If you have any more questions or need further suggestions, feel free to ask.

@EagerRainbow, happy building! And don't forget to monitor your CPU temperatures during gaming sessions to ensure everything is running smoothly. Good luck!
