I recently bought a new 77-inch LG CX TV, and I want to find the best soundbar for optimal audio quality. Can you recommend any top soundbars for my TV?

I've been using the LG Soundbar SL10YS for my 77" CX TV, and I'm really happy with its performance. The sound quality is great, and it has a sleek design that matches well with my TV. You can check out more options in this TechReviewer article Best Soundbars for the LG 77" CX TV.

The Sony HT-A5000 5.1.2ch Dolby Atmos Sound Bar Surround Sound Home Theater is highly recommended for your LG 77" CX TV. It provides excellent audio quality and supports various surround sound formats.

Another great option is the Polk Audio Signa S4 Ultra-Slim Sound Bar, which has HDMI Audio Support, eARC, Optical Support, and Bluetooth capabilities. It's a fantastic runner-up to the Sony HT-A5000.

Solution

Thanks, @LanaAndNeal. I'll definitely check out the LG Soundbar SL10YS. However, could you please tell me about HDMI Video/Audio Pass-Through and ARC/eARC support on the Sony HT-A5000? I want to make sure it's compatible with my TV.

@Topcat210, the Sony HT-A5000 supports both HDMI video/audio pass-through and eARC. This means you can connect your devices directly to the soundbar for a seamless audio experience, while also being able to control the volume using your TV remote.

I was considering getting a subwoofer for my setup. Do you think it's necessary or recommended for the LG 77" CX and the mentioned soundbars?

@ChrisTheGirl, if you're into deep, impactful bass and want to further enhance your audio experience, adding a subwoofer can be a good choice. However, it's not always necessary, as standalone soundbars usually deliver decent bass on their own.

Great suggestions! I'm still deciding between the Sony HT-A5000 and LG Soundbar SL10YS. Can anyone share some pros and cons of each?

@LanaAndNeal mentioned that the LG Soundbar SL10YS has a sleek design, which is a plus if you're looking for a visually appealing soundbar. However, the Sony HT-A5000 offers superior audio quality, supports more surround sound formats, and includes HDMI video/audio pass-through and eARC support.

Both soundbars have their own unique features, so it ultimately comes down to your personal preferences and budget. If you prioritize high-quality audio and advanced features, the Sony HT-A5000 might be the better choice. But if you prefer a more minimalist design, the LG Soundbar SL10YS could be ideal.

What about the wireless surround speakers? Are they compatible with either of these soundbars?

The compatibility of wireless surround speakers depends on the specific model and features of each soundbar. Generally, if your soundbar supports multi-channel input, you should be able to connect wireless surround speakers using an optical or HDMI connection.

Thanks for all the advice! I'll look into the compatibility of wireless surround speakers with these soundbars before making a decision.

@Topcat210, happy to help! Remember that finding the perfect soundbar is all about personal preference and what you value most in your audio experience. Good luck!

Agreed, @thefastestgun. It's important to choose a soundbar that meets your specific needs and preferences. Have fun exploring the options, @Topcat210!
