Thanks for sharing that link! From what I've read so far, it seems that HDMI 2.1 is essential for gaming on this TV. Can you explain a bit more about what features make HDMI 2.1 better for gaming?

I'm glad to help! HDMI 2.1 offers several features that enhance the gaming experience on the Sony X95J TV. For example, it supports Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), which helps reduce screen tearing and input lag. It also has Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) for better audio quality.

That sounds great! So if I were to use an HDMI 2.1 cable with this TV, what are some good options out there?

Solution

Thanks for the recommendations! I'll definitely check those out. One more question - does the refresh rate of the TV play a role in gaming as well?

Yes, the refresh rate does matter for gaming. The Sony X95J has a native refresh rate of 120 Hz, which provides smoother motion during gameplay. Higher refresh rates result in less lag and more fluid movement.

That's good to know! I'll keep that in mind when I'm making my decision. Thanks for all the help!

You're welcome! Good luck with your TV shopping!
