Sony 75" Z9K TV: HDMI Capabilities?

Started by blipdragon on June 11, 2024

I'm looking for some advice on the best HDMI cables to use with my new Sony 75" Bravia XR Z9K TV. Can anyone recommend any good ones?

Yes, both VRR and eARC are supported by the Sony 75" Bravia XR Z9K TV. I've been using it for a while now, and it's been working great! Also, you can check out this TechReviewer article HDMI Capabilities of the Sony 75" Bravia XR Z9K TV for more information on HDMI capabilities of this TV.

For a long time, I used the Monoprice 8K 48Gbps Certified Braided Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable with my 75-inch Sony TV, and it worked great!

The Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft) is also a good option. I've been using it for some time now and haven't had any issues.

Both @ranmah76 and @GlugYolo have great recommendations! I've read that the Sony 75" Bravia XR Z9K TV has four HDMI 2.1 ports and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, so these cables should work well with it. Does anyone know if VRR and eARC are supported by this TV?

That's awesome news! Thanks, @zoulkyud! So, I'm thinking about going with the Monoprice cable since it has a longer length. Do any of you have experience with it or know if it will be compatible with my TV?

Great to hear! Thanks for the info, @ranmah76. I think I'll go ahead and get that cable then!

Just make sure you properly secure the cables so they don't accidentally disconnect during use. That's the only issue I had with the Anker cable - it wasn't as secure as I'd like.

Thanks for the advice, @GlugYolo. I'll definitely keep that in mind when setting everything up!
