I've been looking at the Sony 75" X77L TV and am curious about its refresh rate. Does anyone know what it is?

Hi @biobeard! The Sony 75" X77L TV has a native refresh rate of 60 Hz. This means that the screen can redraw up to 60 times per second, resulting in smooth motion display. For more information and detailed specs, I recommend checking out this TechReviewer article: HDMI Capabilities of the Sony 75" X77L TV. Thank you, @AmericanSquatch! That's helpful. I was wondering if a 60 Hz refresh rate would be adequate for my needs since I watch a mix of movies, sports, and gaming content. Do you have any recommendations based on your experience?

@biobeard, a 60 Hz refresh rate should be fine for most people who watch movies or play games casually. However, if you're into fast-paced gaming or watching sports, you might want to consider a TV with a higher refresh rate like 120 Hz.

I've had the Sony 75" X77L for a few months now and have been quite pleased with its performance, especially for the price. The 60 Hz refresh rate works fine for me since I mostly watch movies and the occasional sports event. However, if you're a serious gamer or want to minimize motion blur in fast-paced content, you might want to look into a higher refresh rate TV.

That's good to know, @lousiana! Thanks for sharing your experience. It seems like the 60 Hz refresh rate is suitable for my needs as well. I'll probably go ahead and get the Sony 75" X77L.

@biobeard, just make sure you pair it with a good HDMI cable, like the Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable or the Monoprice 8K Certified Braided HDMI 2.1 Cable, to ensure optimal performance and compatibility. And enjoy your new TV!

Will do, @AmericanSquatch! I'll look into those cables. Thanks for the advice.
