I recently bought a Sony 75" BRAVIA X85J, and I must say it's an excellent TV! In terms of connecting multiple devices via HDMI, you won't be disappointed. The TV supports HDMI 2.1, which is fantastic for high-resolution content and fast-paced gaming. I've connected my PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Blu-ray player, and soundbar to the TV using HDMI cables, and everything works seamlessly.

That's great to hear! I'm considering getting a Sony 75" BRAVIA X85J myself. Can you tell me more about the recommended HDMI cables for this TV?

Absolutely! The TechReviewer article HDMI Capabilities of the Sony 75" BRAVIA X85J TV discusses some of the best HDMI cables for the Sony 75" BRAVIA X85J. I personally use an Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft) and have been very pleased with its performance.

Thanks for the recommendation! I was also wondering if anyone has any experiences with VRR and eARC on the Sony 75" BRAVIA X85J?

Yes, both VRR and eARC are supported on the Sony 75" BRAVIA X85J. VRR helps reduce screen tearing and input lag during gaming, while eARC allows for enhanced audio capabilities like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. I've personally experienced significant improvements in my gaming and media experiences with these features enabled.

Great to know! I'm considering this TV for my home theater setup. What about the refresh rate of the Sony 75" BRAVIA X85J?

The refresh rate of the Sony 75" BRAVIA X85J is 120 Hz, which provides smooth motion and great performance for fast-paced content like gaming and sports. If you're planning to use this TV primarily for movies and slower-paced shows, a 60 Hz refresh rate should suffice as well.

Thank you all for the helpful information! I think I'm sold on the Sony 75" BRAVIA X85J now. I'll go ahead and make the purchase.

That's awesome! You won't be disappointed with the TV. Enjoy your new Sony 75" BRAVIA X85J!
