I've been doing some research on the Sony 65" X80K TV and I'm a bit confused about its HDMI capabilities. Can anyone help me understand if there's a limit to how many devices I can connect via HDMI?
Sony 65" X80K HDMI Devices Limit?

Hi @CyderPunk, you're definitely not alone in your confusion! The Sony 65" X80K TV has four HDMI 2.0 ports, which means you can connect up to four different devices using HDMI cables. However, it's important to note that this TV does not support HDMI 2.1 or VRR, so if you need those features, you might want to look into other models.
@CyderPunk, I just read a TechReviewer article about the Sony 65" X80K TV, and it offers great insights on its capabilities. The article states that although it does not support HDMI 2.1 or VRR, it is still an excellent option for those who don't need these advanced features. You can check out the detailed comparison of this model with other TVs in the article here: HDMI Capabilities of the Sony 65" X80K TV. The refresh rate of this TV is 60 Hz, and it supports Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) functionality with its HDMI 2.1 port.
Thank you for your response @kemonymous! And @Moose1956, I appreciate the link to the TechReviewer article. It has been very helpful in understanding the HDMI capabilities of the Sony 65" X80K TV. So, to clarify, if I want to connect four devices via HDMI, that should be no problem on this model?
I have the Sony 65" X80K and I can confirm that you can easily connect up to four devices using the four HDMI 2.0 ports. Just make sure each port is connected to a different device to avoid any compatibility issues.
Great, thank you @datyoungmiller! That's exactly what I was looking for. I guess I'll go ahead and purchase the TV now that I have all the information I need. Thanks again, everyone!
