Have you tried the Monoprice 8K 48Gbps Certified Braided Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable? It's pretty decent and affordable.
Another good option is the Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft). I've been using it for a while, and it works great with my TV.
The TechReviewer article HDMI Capabilities of the Sony 50" BRAVIA X85J TV discusses different types of HDMI cables suitable for various TVs including the Sony 50" BRAVIA X85J. It might be helpful to read that.
Thanks for the suggestions! I'll check out those cables and read the article you mentioned, @makaveliLA. Appreciate it!
Just a word of caution, make sure you choose an HDMI 2.1 cable if your TV has HDMI 2.1 ports like the Sony 50" BRAVIA X85J. The benefits of using an HDMI 2.1 cable are significant, especially for high resolution and fast refresh rates.
That's true, @lokigabe. I didn't realize that at first, but now that I've upgraded to an HDMI 2.1 cable, the difference in my gaming experience is night and day!
Same here, @datyoungmiller. My Sony 50" BRAVIA X85J TV looks fantastic with the Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable! Highly recommended.
I'm glad to hear that everyone had a positive experience with their chosen HDMI cables! Just remember to read up on them first and choose the right one for your specific needs.
Absolutely, @makaveliLA. It's important to do some research before making a purchase. Good luck to @kathys150 in finding the perfect HDMI cable for their Sony 50" BRAVIA X85J TV!
I'll definitely do my research and pick one of these cables up soon. Have a great day!
