Well, both CPUs are excellent choices for video editing, but they do have their differences. The Intel Core i9-11900K has a higher base frequency and max turbo boost frequency compared to the AMD Ryzen 7 3800X. Additionally, it offers better support for overclocking, which can help improve performance during long video editing sessions.

On the other hand, the AMD Ryzen 7 3800X features more cores and threads, which could be beneficial when working with multiple video files or running other resource-intensive applications simultaneously. It also has a higher cache size, which might help speed up data processing in some situations.

I've been using the AMD Ryzen 7 3800X for a while now, and I must say it's an excellent CPU for video editing. The performance boost from having more cores really makes a difference when working with large video files or rendering multiple effects at once.

As for my personal experience, I used to have the Intel Core i9-11900K, but I recently upgraded to the AMD Ryzen 7 3800X due to its better multi-threading capabilities. The increased core count really makes a difference when working with large video projects or running multiple apps simultaneously.
