I recently got the ADATA Legend 960 Max 1 TB SSD for my gaming PC, and I'm experiencing slow loading times. Is this normal? I was expecting much faster load times.
Slow Loading Times on ADATA Legend 960 Max 1 TB for Gamers?

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers or BIOS? Sometimes, slow loading times can be due to outdated software.
Also, check if any background processes are consuming resources. These might affect the overall performance of your system.
I had a similar issue with my Legend 960 Max 1 TB SSD and it turned out I was running too many background applications. Closing some of them helped improve load times.
It's also worth checking if your ADATA SSD is properly configured in your system BIOS. Misconfiguration can sometimes lead to slow performance. For example, you may want to check the SATA mode setting - it should be set to AHCI for optimal performance. @effervescentadolesce, thanks for mentioning that! I'll check my BIOS and make sure everything is configured correctly. Hopefully, that will solve the issue.
Yeah, good luck @huertaverde! And remember, sometimes a restart can do wonders too.
I agree with @MFnJones. A restart can fix some hidden issues that might be slowing you down.
@iwannatryem, @MFnJones, and @kornchic: I've followed your suggestions, and it seems the slow loading times were indeed due to a combination of background processes and an outdated BIOS. Thanks for the help! I'm hoping the load times will improve now that I've addressed these issues.
