Sceptre 34" E345B-QUN168W - Monitor Arm or Desk Mount?

Started by tryintomakesense on May 15, 2024

I recently bought a Sceptre 34" E345B-QUN168W monitor and I'm having trouble deciding whether to get a monitor arm or a desk mount. Can anyone provide some recommendations based on the VESA size and weight of this monitor?

According to TechReviewer's article Monitor Mounts & Stands for Sceptre's 34" E345B-QUN168W, the recommended single-monitor desk mounts for your Sceptre 34" E345B-QUN168W are the AVLT Single Monitor Arm Desk Mount, Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount, and the VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mount. Dual-monitor desk mounts can also be a good option if you want to maximize productivity and workspace.

Sure! The Sceptre 34" E345B-QUN168W has a VESA size of 100 x 100 mm and weighs 16 lb. When choosing between a monitor arm and a desk mount, you should consider factors like weight support and VESA size compatibility.

Solution

That's really helpful! Do any of these suggestions provide cable management or other features that might come in handy?

Certain monitor arms come with built-in cable management systems, which can help keep your desk tidy. The Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount has a cable management system, for example.

As someone who recently transitioned to a larger monitor, I highly recommend the VIVO Black Ultra Wide Screen Desk Mount. It's budget-friendly and easy to set up, plus it has cable management clips that keep things organized.

I've used the AVLT Single Monitor Arm Desk Mount, and it offers a lot of adjustability in terms of height, tilt, and swivel. This made positioning my Sceptre 34" E345B-QUN168W monitor much easier, especially when I needed to switch between work and gaming setups.

It sounds like all these options have their advantages. I might need to try out a few different ones before deciding on the best fit for me. Thanks for all the input!

No problem! Just make sure the mount you choose can support the weight of your monitor and is compatible with its VESA size. Good luck in finding the perfect solution for your setup!

@tryintomakesense, don't forget to check if the desk or wall space where you plan to install the mount can accommodate it. That's an important factor to consider as well.

Good point! I'll make sure to measure everything properly before making a final decision. Thanks again for all your help!

You're welcome! If you have any more questions or need further advice, feel free to ask. Good luck with your monitor mount selection!
