Samsung S31A Best Stand?

Started by aalberte on July 09, 2024

I'm considering getting a stand for my new Samsung S31A monitor. Can you suggest any good ones? I've been looking at the HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount and the AVLT Single Monitor Arm Desk Mount.

The Samsung S31A has a VESA size of 100 x 100 mm and weighs 6 lb, so make sure to check that the stand you're considering can handle those specs. I found this TechReviewer article Monitor Mounts & Stands for Samsung's 24" S31A which discusses some options for monitor stands that are compatible with your specific monitor.

Thanks, @kajsaunicorn. That's a great resource! The HUANUO Single Monitor Stand Desk Mount seems to be a good choice since it supports monitors up to 22 lb and has VESA sizes from 75 x 75 mm to 100 x 100 mm. Do you have any personal experience with that stand?

I've used the HUANUO for about a month now, and it's been working great! The setup was easy, and it provides good stability for my monitor.

I tried the AVLT Single Monitor Arm Desk Mount recently, and I'm really happy with it. It has a wider weight capacity of up to 33 lb and supports more VESA sizes. Plus, it's super flexible in terms of height and tilt adjustments.

That sounds awesome, @plutoandluna. Thanks for sharing your experience! So, between the HUANUO and AVLT, which one would you recommend for a Samsung S31A?

It really depends on your personal preferences and budget. I've heard great things about the Ergotron HX Single Ultrawide Monitor Desk Mount as well. It's more expensive but offers great stability and adjustability.

Thanks, @Runeowl73. I appreciate the input! I think I'm leaning towards the AVLT based on @plutoandluna's experience and its wider weight capacity. But I'll definitely check out the Ergotron HX as well.

No matter which one you choose, make sure it's easy to assemble and has a good cable management system. Those are essential for keeping your desk tidy and organized.

Absolutely! Thanks everyone for the suggestions and advice. I'll take all of this into consideration before making my final decision.
