Started by OrangexFazed on May 17, 2024

I've been looking into getting a new TV and came across the Samsung QN90C. One thing that's got me worried is whether it supports HDCP 2.2 for streaming high-definition content from services like Netflix. Can anyone provide some insight on this?

Hi @OrangexFazed! The Samsung QN90C does indeed support HDCP 2.2, which means you'll be able to stream high-definition content without any issues. I actually read an article on TechReviewer that explains the details of this TV's HDMI capabilities. You can check it out here: HDMI Capabilities of the Samsung 65" QN90C TV. Oh, that's great to hear! Thanks for the info, @Stuffedbunny. I was worried about not being able to stream high-quality content. Now that I know the QN90C supports HDCP 2.2, it's back to the drawing board for me in choosing the right TV.

I just wanted to jump in and share my experience with the QN90C. I've had mine for a few months now, and I must say, streaming high-def content is really seamless. I haven't encountered any issues with HDCP 2.2 or anything else. The TV's performance has been top-notch.

That's awesome to hear, @hardinMI! Your experience really puts my mind at ease. Thanks for sharing!

I'm also considering the QN90C and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on which HDMI cable would be best suited for it? I know there are a lot of options out there.

Thanks for the recommendation, @Stuffedbunny! I'll definitely be taking a look at that article before making my decision on which HDMI cable to go with.

Just wanted to add that I used an Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft) and it works great with my QN90C. It's been reliable and high-performing so far, and I'm really happy with the choice.

Thanks for sharing your experience, @hardinMI! I'll consider that cable as well when I start looking into options. Good to know there are reliable options out there.

Great, thanks everyone for all the helpful information! I think I have a better understanding of the QN90C and what HDMI cable to choose now. Appreciate your input!
