I'm looking for some advice on the HDMI input count of the Samsung QN90A TV. Can anyone tell me how many HDMI inputs this TV has and if it's enough for my setup?

Solution

That should be more than enough for most people's needs!

Yeah, but what about if you have a soundbar and a gaming console? Will that take up two of the HDMI ports?

If you're using a soundbar with an optical or coaxial cable for audio, you won't need to use an HDMI port for it. You can connect your gaming console and other devices to the available HDMI ports. So, in this case, having four HDMI inputs should be sufficient.

Great! Thanks for the information everyone. I think I'll go ahead with the purchase.

One more question - does anyone know if this TV has eARC support?

Yes, the Samsung 55" QN90A TV supports Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) functionality with its HDMI 2.1 port. This feature often includes additional Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio capabilities.

Awesome! That's really important for me since I have a soundbar that supports those standards.

Glad to hear it! Enjoy your new TV!

Have a great day!
