I'm thinking of getting a Samsung Q70B TV and was wondering about its HDMI capabilities. Can anyone share some insights on this?

I agree with @Brushybill1. In addition to that, I found an article on TechReviewer discussing the best HDMI cables for the Samsung Q70B TV. Check it out here: HDMI Capabilities of the Samsung 85" Q70B TV. The Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable and Monoprice 8K Certified Braided HDMI 2.1 Cable are both great options.

The Samsung Q70B TV supports HDMI 2.1 with four HDMI 2.1 ports. This allows for increased bandwidth for higher resolutions up to 10K and faster refresh rates.

I've been using the Samsung Q70B for a while now, and the HDMI capabilities have made a huge difference in my gaming experience. The higher refresh rate really shines in competitive games, and the HDMI 2.1 ports support VRR and eARC.

@gluczkowski2! I appreciate the recommendation for the best HDMI cables. One more thing I'd like to know is if the TV also supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate)?

Yes, @Sneedlethebeetle, the Samsung Q70B does support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR). This feature can greatly improve your gaming experience by eliminating screen tearing and input lag.

Another thing to consider is that the Q70B TV has a native refresh rate of 120 Hz. If you're into fast-paced content, this could be a huge bonus for you.

That's really useful information, @ethinker. Thanks a lot! I think I'm leaning towards getting the Samsung Q70B now. But one last question: do you know if there are any downsides to using HDMI 2.1 cables?

The only downside of using HDMI 2.1 cables that I've noticed is their higher cost compared to older versions. However, considering the improved performance and compatibility with modern TVs like the Q70B, I think it's worth the investment.

Great, thanks for all your help! I'll definitely check out those HDMI cables and see if they're within my budget.

You're welcome, @Sneedlethebeetle. Good luck with your TV purchase! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
