Samsung CU8000 HDMI Audio Output?

I'm considering buying a Samsung CU8000 TV and wanted to know about its HDMI audio output capabilities. Has anyone here used it or could give some advice?

Hi @MoonMousseOfficial! The Samsung CU8000 has some good features but when it comes to HDMI audio output, it's quite limited. It supports standard ARC, but doesn't have eARC or HDMI 2.1 support.

That's great to know, @stellamilanese! The article sounds really helpful. I was hoping to use eARC for my surround sound system but I guess that won't be possible with this TV.

I have a CU8000 and it works fine for me. I haven't noticed any major issues with the HDMI audio output. But @graemej1 is right about the limitations.
