I recently purchased a Samsung AU8000 TV and I'm having trouble deciding on the right type of HDMI cables to use for my setup. Can anyone provide some guidance?
Samsung AU8000 - Multiple HDMI Inputs?

Sure, you can use multiple HDMI inputs with your Samsung AU8000 TV. It has three HDMI 2.0 ports, which should be sufficient for most devices.
Thanks for the information! I've been reading about HDMI 2.1 cables and their benefits, but I'm not sure if my TV supports it. Can someone check if the Samsung AU8000 has HDMI 2.1 support?
Upon checking the specifications of your Samsung AU8000 TV, I found that it does NOT support HDMI 2.1, only HDMI 2.0 ports are available. However, I've also read a TechReviewer article HDMI Capabilities of the Samsung 50" AU8000 TV discussing the compatibility and features of various HDMI cables, which might help you make an informed decision.
Thanks for your help! Based on this information, would you recommend using an HDMI 2.1 cable with my AU8000 TV, even though it doesn't support HDMI 2.1 directly?
I think that while the AU8000 does not have native support for HDMI 2.1, it should still be compatible with such cables as they are backward-compatible with older HDMI versions. However, you will only benefit from HDMI 2.1 features if your connected devices also support them.
That's good to know! I'll probably go for an HDMI 2.1 cable then. Thanks again for the help!
