Thank you, @CandySona, for providing this information about the HDMI ports on the Samsung 85-inch Q70C TV. And thank you, @futureofwar, for sharing the TechReviewer article link. I'll definitely check it out to learn more about the HDMI capabilities of my new TV.

I just want to add that if you're looking for a good HDMI cable for your Samsung 85-inch Q70C TV, I would recommend getting an Anker 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable (6.6 ft) or Monoprice 8K 48Gbps Certified Braided Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable. Both of these cables are great for maintaining high-quality video and audio transmission.

@MrsDempsey, I'll consider those options when purchasing an HDMI cable for my TV. By the way, does anyone know if this TV supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel)?

Yes, @StartswithJ, both VRR and eARC are supported by the Samsung 85" Q70C TV. This will allow you to have a smoother gaming experience and better audio quality.

I'd like to point out that the refresh rate of the Samsung 85-inch Q70C TV is 120 Hz, which provides a smooth motion handling for fast-paced content such as sports and games.

That's great to know! @CandySona and @futureofwar. With this information, I'll be able to make better decisions when connecting my devices to the TV. By the way, does anyone have experience with using HDMI 2.0 cables with this TV? Will they work or should I stick with HDMI 2.1?

If you're looking for optimal performance, @StartswithJ, it's best to use an HDMI 2.1 cable since it'll support all the features of your TV. But if you're on a budget and only need basic functionality, an HDMI 2.0 cable should still work fine.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. I appreciate the information provided. It's clear that using an HDMI 2.1 cable is the best choice for my Samsung 85-inch Q70C TV to fully utilize its capabilities. Goodbye!
