@Nullcrass, thanks for the info! I've also found that TechReviewer has an article about this TV's HDMI capabilities and features HDMI Capabilities of the Samsung 75" Q70A TV. It might be helpful to check it out before making a decision.

The Samsung 75" Q70A has a total of four HDMI ports. Three of them support HDMI 2.0, while one supports HDMI 2.1.

Thanks, @graemej1. I'll definitely take a look at that article. Can you explain more about what each type of HDMI port can do?

Sure! The three HDMI 2.0 ports on the Q70A support resolutions up to 4K and refresh rates up to 60 Hz. They're great for most gaming and streaming needs.

I have a question about the HDMI 2.1 port, though. What makes it different from the HDMI 2.0 ports?

@Political-Intellect, the HDMI 2.1 port on the Q70A supports resolutions up to 10K and offers faster refresh rates for other resolutions compared to HDMI 2.0. It also provides additional features such as VRR and eARC.

That's awesome! I didn't realize the TV had a port that could handle 10K resolution. Does it make a difference in everyday use, or is that mainly for professional purposes?

@ChrisTheGirl, while 10K resolution isn't necessary for everyday use, having an HDMI 2.1 port on your TV does offer benefits like faster refresh rates and better support for HDR content. These features can enhance your overall viewing experience, especially when watching high-quality videos or playing games.

Thanks for the input everyone! I think I'll go ahead and purchase the Samsung 75-inch Q70A. I'm excited to see how it performs with my gaming setup.

Good luck, @SerendipityxD! And remember to get a good HDMI cable that supports your TV's capabilities for the best performance.
