I'm looking to buy a new monitor for my PC gaming setup. I've been considering the Samsung 32" CR500, but I'm not sure if it's a good choice. Can anyone provide some insights?
Samsung 32" CR500 for PC Gaming?

The Samsung 32" CR500 is actually a decent option for PC gaming! I've included a link to a TechReviewer article that discusses its performance in detail Is the Samsung 32" CR500 Good for Gaming?. According to the article, the refresh rate and response time are both good for gaming. However, it does have a lower resolution compared to some other options out there.
Thanks for sharing that @AeroTheSoldier! I was unaware of that TechReviewer article. The refresh rate and response time seem promising for my needs. Can anyone else share their experiences with the Samsung 32" CR500?
I have been using the Samsung 32" CR500 for a few months now, and it's served me well! I mostly play single-player games like The Witcher 3, and the screen resolution is more than enough for those. The colors are vibrant, and the VA panel provides great viewing angles.
It's good to hear that @Brushybill1 has had a positive experience with the Samsung 32" CR500. I agree that it works well for single-player games. However, if you're into multiplayer or fast-paced games, you might want to consider something with a higher refresh rate and better response time.
I recently upgraded to the Samsung Odyssey G9, which has a higher refresh rate and resolution than the CR500. The difference in gaming experience is night and day! It's much smoother for multiplayer games or any game with fast-paced action. If you're into that kind of thing, it might be worth considering.
Thanks for all the input everyone. I appreciate the suggestions. The Odyssey G9 sounds tempting, but it might be a bit too expensive for my budget right now. The Samsung 32" CR500 still seems like a decent option if I can't afford something higher-end.
That's completely understandable, @HorseCheng. If you're on a budget and the Samsung 32" CR500 meets your requirements, it can definitely be a good choice for gaming. Just keep in mind that there are other options out there with better specs if you decide to upgrade in the future.
Thanks again for all the advice. I'll do some more research and see if the Samsung 32" CR500 fits my needs. I appreciate everyone's input!
