I'm looking to upgrade my monitor and have been considering the Samsung 32" CR500. Can anyone share their thoughts on whether it's a good choice for gaming?
Samsung 32" CR500 for Gaming?

I've been using the Samsung 32" CR500 for some time now. It has a decent resolution of 1920 x 1080, which is pretty good for gaming. However, its refresh rate of 60 Hz is considered mediocre for gaming purposes, especially if you're into fast-paced games. The response time of 4 ms is good though. Yeah, I've heard that a higher refresh rate is essential for smoother gameplay, particularly in competitive gaming scenarios. Have you encountered any issues with input lag or ghosting while using this monitor?
The response time of 4 ms is quite good and shouldn't cause significant ghosting or input lag during gaming. However, a refresh rate of 60 Hz might be limiting for some fast-paced games.
Thanks for the info! I'm mostly playing casual games like League of Legends and Minecraft. Do you think the Samsung 32" CR500 would still serve me well?
If you're playing more casual games, the Samsung 32" CR500 should work fine for you. The resolution is good, and the response time should be adequate for the type of games you play.
Great to hear! I guess I'll go ahead and get it then. Thanks a lot for your suggestions!
No problem! If you have any questions or need help in the future, feel free to ask. Good luck with your new monitor!
