Samsung 27" S80A for Gaming?

I'm looking to get a new monitor and was considering the Samsung 27" S80A. Has anyone here used it? Is it good for gaming?

Yeah, I've been using it for a few months now and it's great! The resolution is amazing, really makes games look stunning.

I've heard that the refresh rate could be better for gaming though. Have you checked out any other options?

You're right about the refresh rate. It's 60Hz which might not be ideal for fast-paced games. Still, the response time is pretty good at 5ms.

I guess that's true. I'm more into fast-paced shooters where a higher refresh rate would make a big difference. Maybe I'll stick with my current monitor for now.
